How Do I Place an Order?
FILL OUT THE ONLINE ORDER FORM by clicking the BOOK NOW button. THIS WILL PROMPT YOU FOR ALL THE INFORMATION I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A PRICE QUOTE.

ALL CUSTOM REQUESTS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NOT QUOTED IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE.
When will I receive a reply?
48-72 HOURS (NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS) SOMETIMES SOONER IF I’M ON THE BALL. ALL REQUESTS WILL BE REPLIED TO IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED.
I DO NOT ANSWER MESSAGES ON THE WEEKEND DUE TO THE VOLUME OF WORK THAT GOES OUT THOSE DAYS. I DO MY BEST TO STICK TO THAT TIME FRAME BUT SOMETIMES, LIFE HAPPENS.

How much will my order cost?

EVERY SPECIALTY ORDER REQUIRES A DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF TIME, MATERIAL, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL TO COMPLETE I HAVE BASE PRICING OUTLINED, AND ADDITIONAL CUSTOM WORK IS PRICED AT $25/HR.
WORKING IN A BUDGET? LET ME KNOW! I BELIEVE EVERY EVENT DESERVES A BEAUTIFUL CAKE, REGARDLESS OF BUDGET. IF I’M AWARE OF YOUR BUDGET, I CAN HELP MAKE SUGGESTIONS TO CREATE YOUR CAKE, AND KEEP THE COST WHERE YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WORKING.
What happens after I receive my quote?
A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK ALL CUSTOM ORDERS.
YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT LETS ME KNOW YOU’RE READY TO PLACE YOUR ORDER. ONCE YOUR DEPOSIT IT RECEIVED, I BOOK THE HOURS NEEDED TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER, AND ALLOWS ME TO ORDER MATERIALS NEEDED TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER.
THERES 2 DIFFERENT WAYS TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT: I WILL SEND AN ELECTRONIC INVOICE, THEN YOU CAN PAY BY ETRANSFER, OR YOU CAN STOP BY AND PAY CASH!
DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT CAN BE APPLIED TOWARD A FUTURE ORDER!
How much time in advance?
ALL CUSTOM WORK REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS NOTICE. THIS ALLOWS ME TIME TO ORDER MATERIALS AND BEGIN CRAFTING UNIQUE ELEMENTS FOR EACH DESIGN.
ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. I CAN, AND OFTEN DO, ACCOMMODATE LAST MINUTE REQUESTS, BASED ON AVAILABILITY.
FOR LAST MINUTE REQUESTS, I ADVISE EMAILING ME OR SEND ME A DM ON SOCIALS.

Do you deliver?

FOR WEDDING ORDERS IN THE TOWN OF PARRY SOUND I DO OFFER DELIVERY AND SETUP FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE.
Can you accommodate allergies?
I CAN OFFER CAKES AND CUPCAKES THAT ARE BAKED NUT FREE. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT A NUT FREE FACILITY. FROM TIME TO TIME, ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS, I BAKE ITEMS CONTAINING NUTS.
IF I AM AWARE OF AN ALLERGY, I MAKE EVERY REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION TO ENSURE NO CROSS CONTAMINATION.
I DO NOT OFFER ANYTHING GLUTEN FREE, VEGAN, OR LOW SUGAR.

What will my cake look like?
I ASK CLIENTS TO HAVE SOME DESIGN IDEAS AND REFERENCE PHOTOS. WHILE THIS DOESN’T NEED TO BE EXACT, HAVING DIRECTION AND GOALS IS A GREAT START.
REFERENCE PHOTOS HELP ME VISUALLY TO MAKE SURE WE’RE ON THE SAME PAGE DESIGN WISE. IT WILL ALLOW ME TO CAPTURE OVERALL THEME, COLOR SCHEME, AND DESIGN ELEMENTS YOU’D LIKE INCLUDED. I LOVE THE DETAILS!
SHOW ME COLOR SWATCHES, WHAT YOUR DOG LOOKS LIKE, A COPY OF AN INVITATION, A SCHOOL EMBLEM, THE PARTY DECOR YOU ORDERED, AND I’LL COME UP WITH SOMETHING UNIQUE TO YOU!
How should I handle my cake after pickup?
Always carry the cake with a firm hand placed under the cake, never by the sides of the cake box or board. A custom cake can be surprisingly heavy.
Keep the cake flat.
If it’s a hot day outside, the air conditioning may not reach the trunk, so it might be safer to place the cake on the floor of the car to keep it cool. Do not place the cake on the seat of your car (or on a passengers lap). It is neither firm nor flat enough.
DRIVE CAREFULLY! – I put a lot of work into every cake, so make sure to avoid steep ramps, sudden stops, and quick starts…and watch out for those speed bumps! Please keep the cake cool, keep it away from direct sunlight, and turn on the A/C. I do not recommend long-distance travel with my cakes (especially in the summer & hot days).
Once you’ve arrived at your destination, place your cake still in the box in the fridge.
Take the cake out of the refrigerator 1/2 hour before serving to ensure soft frosting. Open the side of the box and slide the cake out rather than lifting it. If the side doesn’t easily open, cut it.
And remember to carry the cake with a firm hand placed under the cake, never by the sides of the cake box or board.
Once the cake is out of my hands, it is your responsibility. Please make sure it is to your satisfaction before leaving.
